*Working Schedule of the internship:

08:30-08:35 Check in,grouping,distribution of materials,preparation work,instruction of security tips and schedule for the day

08:35-11:15 Perform panda keeper's duties at the enclosure

11:30-13:30 Have lunch & rest 

13:30 Gather

13:30-14:35 Tour of the Panda Base, and learn more about giant pandas and biodiversity

14:40-15:10 Watch documentary of pandas 

15:15-15:25 Visit panda museum

15:25-15:30 Certificate issued

15:30 Program ends 

*Work maybe included:
1. Feeding the panda (fresh bamboo, apple or panda cake)
2. Cleaning the enclosure to give the pandas a clean and comfortable living place.
3. Collecting and weighing the feces (this is the most effective way to determine the health of the panda).
4. Cleaning the panda. Rinse the panda with cool water and see how much they enjoy it, but just in very hot summer.
5. Learning how to take good care of the panda , and teach them lessons
6. Other jobs

*Cost: RMB 600/pax/day
A deposit of half the cost(RMB300/pax) should be paid in advance to guarantee the intership program, the cost Includes ticket fee, uniform fee, materials fee, certificate fee, local English interpretation fee, training fee, local guide fee
However, fees for hotel, meals, transportation and pictures with pandas for donation are not included,

*How to Join
Book and confirm the intern activities via phone, fax, E-mail at least two days in advance.
If you want to join the internship program on holidays such as weekend, you have to book it at least four days in advance.

All activities are designed by the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda breeding and can be flexible with different participants, group sizes, time and other factors. We can also design more activities according to your requirements.
