Langzhong is situated in the northern Sichuan Basin on the middle reaches of the Jialing River, a branch of the Yangtze. Emperor Qin Hui established Langzhong County in 314 B.C., and it is the only county that has retained its original name. Till now Langzhong still has kept its ancient town of 1.5 square kilometers in good repair. In 1986, the State Council named it a famous historic and cultural city. And in China, Langzhong is one of four old cities
Day1:Chengdu-Nanchong-Langzhong(330Km, about 4 hours driving)
Depart Chengdu in the morning, drive on Chengdu-Nanchong express way, then change to the road to Langzhong, appreciate the hilly country scenery along the road, arrive Langzhou city at about noon..Visit the Temple of Marquis Huan(Zhangfei Temple), then visit the ancient city.Overnight: Langzhong Golden Dragon hotel.
Day2: Langzhong-Jiange-Jianmen pass(100Km, about 2-4 hours driving)
After breakfast depart Langzhong ancient city and drive to Jianmen pass via Jiange city. Visit Jianmen pass and the beautiful natural scenery, visit the Tomb of Jiangwei. Have a bean curd dinner.Overnight: Zhonghui Tent Hotel.
Day3:Jianmen pass-Emerald Corridor-Mt.Qiqu Temple
Leave Jianmen pass for Jiange county, visit Emerald corridor along the road. Have a sightseeing at Emerald Corridor Pard, walk on the ancient Sichuan road, then visit Qiqu temple. Drive on Chengdu-Mianyang express way back to Chengdu. End tour.
