Ying Huashan Scenic Area

Ying Huashan Scenic Area is located in the northwest of Shifang county, next to Mianzhu, Maoxian county, Mt.Jiufeng scenic area of Peng county. It is 37 kilometers from the county town, and 98 kilometers from Chengdu. The scenic spots covers an area of 180 square kilometers and is 3160 meters high. It is one of the alpine scenic areas featured with the natural landscape in China.

Towering mountains and deep gullies, trees with luxuriant foliages, and wild flowers gaving off fragrant odors, such beautiful natural scenery has attracted a great deal of visitors from home and abroad. There are also many waterfalls in the scenic area, of which, the 'Three-drops Waterfall' is most famous. Due to the excellent vegetationt, there are many rare plans in Ying Huashan Scenic Area, such as Davidia, Gingko, Red Cedar, Cercidiphyllum and so on. One can also find many kinds of wild animals there, such as Giant Pandas, Golden Monkeys, Wild Ass, Deer, Caragana, etc..

With its fresh air, clear sky and the good visibility, visitors can well enjoy the sunrise, holy lights, cloud sea, and buddha lights there.
